Wankinquoah Junior Associates
All youths between the ages of 9 and 17. Boys and Girls are eligible to become WRGC Associate Members. The Wankinquoah Junior Associates Social Meetings are held once a month, typically the third Tuesday of the month. Starting at 6:30 PM and running until 8:30 PM, dinner is served, and the meeting is based on conservation projects, outdoor experience, hunting, fishing, sportsmanship, and having fun as a youth group.
The Junior Associate Program is a year-round program starting in September and runs through June. Associates meet in July or August for a yearly field trip. The yearly field trip is determined by the youth. Attendance is kept monthly and those who are vested in time are eligible for discounted field trips.
Here are some of the things youth can expect while being a member:
- Cooking, Fire building, map and compass, competitions, games, themed events, citizenship, conservation, hunting, fishing, archery ( including arrow building ) and marksmanship.
- Service projects to help the club.
- Fundraising events.
- Yearly Spaghetti Dinner in Fall
- Yearly Annual Tihonet Pond Fishing Derby at AD Makepeace Property Wareham Major

- Social meetings monthly in the main clubhouse
- 2024 Conservation Initiatives include Blue Bird habitats for agriculture and conservation land.
- Partnering with AD Makepeace Companies and Middleboro Conservation
- FUN
Youth under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are encouraged to stay and get to know other members and help with the program as needed. There is a minimum fee for adults to join in for dinner. (Usually 5.00 to help cover costs) Junior Associates Dues are $12.00 per year. The program is supported by the Regular Club Membership and supports the Club through Fundraising. A $5.00 application fee is due at sign up.
